Super Foods – Grow Them In Your Backyard

Super Foods And DNA

naturopathDo you know that  anything you grow can become super foods? Most of us know that our foods are grossly deficient in nutrients, this is one of the reasons, despite advances in technology that we continue to get sick. First of all i would like to talk about DNA and how super foods can help correct the imbalance caused by nutrient

deficient foods. So what is DNA?? DNA is our very blueprint, we have DNA in every cell of the body except for our red blood cells. The DNA tells our cells what proteins or materials to use as the body is building and repairing.

So what happens if those materials are not in our foods? Can the DNA  make healthy cells or tissues? The answer is that the DNA will use whatever material it has to work with, if the right nutrients are not there then there can be consequences. As the cells divide, they become “sicker”, and as they divide further there is a roll on effect. On the other hand, if all the necessary nutrients are there then they will become healthy cells which can reduce the chance of serious disease.

Super Foods And Soil Preparation

To produce super foods we need to make sure our soil has the necessary nutrients. This is important because our DNA. is made up of LONG CHAIN Polysaccharides,Codons or Proteins and the minerals are needed to bind these nutrients together. If any of these nutrients are missing, the DNA will start to fall apart and can result in disease . A lot of store bought food is deficient in these nutrients. Even some organic foods have come up short when tested for nutrients with a Brix Meter. For example if we are eating fruit it may be deficient in long chain sugars which could increase our risk of diabetes, fungal infections to name a couple.  To make sure our normal foods become super foods we need to take the time to prepare the soil properly. In my next article, i will help get you become a super gardener and have you producing super foods of your own.

See you next time. Tony Boutros ND
